Project CARS (Community Assisted Racing Simulator) is a future motorsport simulation game developed by Slightly Mad Studios. These games first released on November 18, 2014 in the US and November 21, 2014 in Europe for OS Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while the Wii U and the version SteamOS / Linux postponed to 2015. Project Cars initially will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 but later it was announced that this version has been canceled. Funding for the game are taken from fans and developers themselves, without any financial assistance from traditional publishers. Through the purchase of the package, players can contribute to development in roles including content creation, QA, and marketing media. Donors will receive special features, depending on the pack that they purchased. Donors will receive a share of the profit generated game in the first 3 years after launch as compensation for their efforts, which will be paid quarterly.
